Counsellor | Facilitator | Founder of The 10 Minute Dad
Lewis Townsend is a qualified counsellor and facilitator with over 15 years’ experience working across social justice, youth work, education and family support.
He holds a Master of Counselling and has extensive training in trauma-informed practice, emotional regulation, motivational interviewing and family systems work.
Lewis specialises in supporting fathers and men navigating pressure — whether that’s the early years of parenting, relationship strain, career demands or identity shifts.
His work focuses on practical psychology. Not theory. Not lectures. Real tools that can be used immediately.
He is the creator of The 10 Minute Dad, a structured audio program designed to help fathers regulate their nervous system, reconnect with their family and respond with intention rather than reaction.
Alongside The 10 Minute Dad, Lewis delivers workshops and programs supporting emotional resilience, communication and wellbeing for men, families and organisations.
His approach is grounded, direct and compassionate — combining clinical understanding with lived experience as a partner and father.
